The Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) is Kenyan Public University. It is the first Technical University in Kenya and was charted in January 2013 by H.E. Mwai Kibaki, The President of the Republic of Kenya.It is located in the Nairobi CBD opposite the Times Tower and along Haile Selassie Avenue next to the City Square Post Office. It is known for offering Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Programmes as well as the Degree Programmes. Among the programmes offered at TU-K are: DipTech, BTech, BPhil, BEng and BSc.
